There are two more summers before the Taipei 2009 Summer Deaflympics. In preparation for Taipei, I am planning to go to Belgrade sometime in October or November for a site inspection for the European Deaf Handball Championships which take place on 19-26 April 2008. I am hoping that for the European Championship the number of team participating will be great. So the presence of the teams will also be good in Taipei.

We must keep the sport of handball alive. The Taipei Summer Deaflympics will mark the 11th time that handball is staged, since 1969 in Belgrade.
