Biography on Alexander Nikolayevich Romantsov, Volleyball Technical Director

Alexander Romantsov is CISS's newly appointed Volleyball Technical Director. Born in 1960, he graduated from Bauman Moscow State Technical University.

Alexander began his volleyball career in 1976, he was the member of the Gold Medallist Soviet Union Volleyball team at the 14th World Summer Games in Cologne, Germany in 1981. Alexander also participated in the 1st European Volleyball Championships in Vejle, Denmark in 1982, and in the 18th World Summer Games in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1997 and has won several international competitions.

Since 1998 to now, Alexander is the Russian Technical Director for Volleyball. He organizes and manages training camps and Russian volleyball championships. Since 1999, Mr. Romantsov is the Russian Volleyball Head Coach and did a great job organizing the 5th European Deaf Volleyball Championship in Moscow in 1999.

Alexander and his wife has 3 children.
