Badminton

Recently I went to IBF (International Badminton Federation) Head-Office in Cheltenham, England to meet with George McDonald, the President of Australian Badminton Federation and an officer from the IBF who specialises in official World Badminton Ranking List. George came to England for a meeting with the IBF so I had the opportunity to arrange for a special meeting to focus on Badminton for the Deaflympics.

We had an excellent and very positive discussion which would ensure everything to go as smoothly as possible and to make sure that he is very aware of our badminton programme and I have provided him with the details of 1st World Badminton Championship last October in Sofia and the last Deaflympics in Rome.

I am pleased to say that the official from the IBF was extremely impressed with our new Ranking points and they have submitted me their official letter of endorsement which is very important.
