ICSD seeks candidates for Ethics Commission vacancies

The International Committee of Sports for the Deaf (ICSD) is now seeking applications for positions of its Ethics Commission in order to safeguard the ethical principles of the Olympic Movement and ICSD community.

Having diverse and committed Ethics Commission members with the expertise to advise ICSD Secretariat and the Executive Board is crucial to advancing the ICSD’s mission as the leader of Deaf Sport.

It is highly recommended for the candidates to be independent personalities with suitable qualifications or appropriate experience on the topics relevant to the Commission and have a good command of the English language.

Furthermore, ICSD is targeting a minimum 30 per cent representation of female members across all of its Standing Committees.

To be considered, all nominations must include the following and be forwarded by Friday, 27 November 2020:
• an curriculum vitae, which fully outlines the candidate’s experience and expertise; and
• a letter of endorsement from one of ICSD’s current members.

ICSD is welcoming all potential candidates, and if you would like to express your interest in serving on ICSD Ethics Commission, please contact to ICSD Secretariat by email office@ciss.org
