ICSD Executive Board Suspends Tomasz Guminski for Code of Ethics Violation

The International Committee of Sports for the Deaf (ICSD) Executive Board has imposed a suspension on Mr. Tomasz Guminski, an athlete from Poland competing in Sailing, following a violation of the ICSD Code of Ethics related to harassment and inappropriate conduct during the 2024 World Deaf Sailing Championships. After reviewing the findings of the ICSD Ethics Commission, the Executive Board determined that Mr. Guminski’s actions constituted a serious breach of ICSD’s Code of Ethics. Effective immediately, Mr. Guminski is suspended from participating in all ICSD-sanctioned events and from holding any official positions within ICSD. This suspension will remain in effect until December 31, 2028. The suspension applies to, but is not limited to, the following events:

  • World Deaf Sailing Championships 2026
  • World Deaf Sailing Championships 2028
  • All other ICSD events and activities
