IOC Executive Board Decisions on two Positive Drug Test Results from the Winter Olympic Games

The International Olympic Committee Executive Board announced its decisions on two positive drug test results of prohibited substances detected at the Salt Lake City 2002 Winter Olympic Games. The people concerned are a skiier from Great Britian, hockey player and team doctor from Belarus. Substances found in urine samples were Methamphetamine and 19-norandosterone. The athletes were disqualified from the Salt Lake City Games and the team doctor was declared ineligible to participate in future Olympic Games--- Summer Olympic Games in Athens 2004 and the Winter Olympic Games in Torino 2006.
