Biography on Zsolt Nyíro, Table Tennis Technical Director

Zsolt is CISS's newly appointed Table Tennis Technical Director. He was born in Budapest in 1962. He got involved in the world of table tennis in 1976. After two years of playing he became a national player and played for more than 300 tournaments from 1976 to the European Championship in Israel in 1995. He is still active in table tennis and plays in veterans' tournaments.His accomplishments includes the Deaflympics in Los Angeles, 1985 with 1 bronze medal and in the Deaf European Championships in Copenhagen, 1983; 1 gold medal.

Zsolt is currently the Presidential member of the Hungarian Deaf Sport Association. Also the President of the Compiler Committee under the Deaf and Hard of Hearing National Association.

He will be a great asset with his 20 years of table tennis career and he can easily communicate in International Sign Language.
